Client

Global industrial developer expanding its activities in Central Europe to the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Objective

To look for candidates for the job of Country Manager with in-depth knowledge and experience in the industrial development segment which is able to quickly take over the management of ongoing projects from the existing regional manager and significantly activities to both markets with estimated investment of more than 1 billion EUR. An important requirement was also a functioning network of contacts among industrial development-orientated real estate brokers.

Course

The client contacted us by recommendation. At the subsequent meeting with the client we specified his ideas and described our experience in the field. After specifying the conditions of cooperation we appointed several people from our network of contacts which the client knew and by our understanding of the assignment met the expectations. Finally, we jointly specified the details of the profile and personality set in the assignment according to specific persons.

In view of the high demands, it was necessary to perform classic research, and we compiled a longlist based on the knowledge of the market and candidates from our previous projects. In view of the highly interesting parameters of the offer there was no problem to attract potential candidates and motivate them to a meeting with the client. Our interviews with the selected candidates were conducted in the space of 2 weeks, and we met with the client in week 3 and 4.

Result

The client chose 1 of the 3 presented candidates and after several meetings concerning job terms and conditions he signed the employment contract with him. To our great pleasure after several months of cooperation the candidate and client express their satisfaction with our work and rewarded us with work on new job positions.

The new Country Manager managed to complete and lease the already implemented project in the first years of activity in the company as well as find and purchase several interesting land plots for future development. He also made several acquisitions of ongoing competitive projects thanks to which the company's marked share in the Czech Republic and Slovakia increased.
