About Our Client
Our client, a global production company with a European IT Hub in Prague, is seeking an experienced professional for the role of Senior SAP WM/EWM Technical Lead.
Role Overview
The Senior SAP WM/EWM Technical Lead will be responsible for driving the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP WM and EWM systems, ensuring seamless alignment with the company business and supply chain processes. This role also involves building and leading a team of 4 SAP experts to support these initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the design and configuration of SAP WM and EWM solutions, ensuring alignment with complex business requirements and industry best practices.
- Manage full-cycle SAP WM/EWM implementations, from requirements gathering and blueprinting to configuration, testing, and go-live.
- Optimize warehouse processes through EWM functionalities, including inbound/outbound processes, Value-Added Services (VAS), quality inspections, physical inventory, and wave management.
- Oversee proper configuration of master data, including product master, packaging specifications, and storage bins.
- Ensure smooth integration of SAP ERP with WM/EWM modules, facilitating efficient data and process flow between systems.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting, issue resolution, and technical support to maintain system stability and user satisfaction.
- Continuously research and implement improvements to enhance system performance, reliability, and user experience.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and training materials.
- Build and lead a team of 4 SAP experts, overseeing their professional development and performance.
Qualifications
- University degree required; Master degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of SAP WM/EWM experience, encompassing design, implementation, support, and configuration.
- Extensive experience with EWM functionalities, including inbound/outbound processes, internal processes, quality inspections, and physical inventory management.
- Proficiency in master data creation (e.g., product master, storage bins) and system integration between SAP ERP and EWM.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to optimize processes through system configuration.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), capable of explaining complex technical concepts in business terms.
- Leadership experience and the ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
- SAP certifications in WM/EWM are highly desirable.
