Information Security Consultant
Role
Our client is a leading consultancy company with global presence and strong position in the Czech Republic. We are searching for an Infirmation Security Consultant for Prague office. You would be working on projects related to information security risks and technology assessments, solution designs or information security improvements.
Job details:
- Design, build and implement enterprise-class security systems
- Secure business information by identifying network and application security requirements, implementing and testing security controls and procedures
- Align standards, frameworks and security with overall business and technology strategy
- Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats
- Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge
- Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security framework requirements
- Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
- Develop effective architecture solutions that not only satisfy immediate project requirements but also deliver a coherent, reusable, reliable and phased architecture to help the business grow and change while aligning to strategic vision
- Assess and define problems or opportunities for improvement by providing documented business, functional, operational, and security requirements to be addressed by future state solutions
- Communicate design approaches and recommendations effective to gain stakeholder approvals and agreements
Profile
- At least 5 years of Information Technology/Security experience (administration, consulting...)
- Experience in design and implementation of security solutions
- Created and maintained security control policies and procedures, managing the protection of information systems
- Experience in evaluating existing applications and infrastructure and advising on security enhancements
- Strong ability to document processes, procedures, and security designs clearly and accurately for distribution to internal teams and customers
- Experience in dealing with external vendors and suppliers in the security industry
- Self-motivated with an aptitude to learn quickly
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective teaming and knowledge sharing skills
