Our client is leading international FMCG company, producing and delivering globally well known food and beverage brands. It manages its European business from Prague. We are searching for a Cloud Platform Lead, who will be member of a team, which operates and manages European IT from Prague. IT is integral part of the business and is currently working on transformation to support digital innovations and business goals of the company.

Cloud Platform Lead will be the owner of MS Azure and SAP combined platform and solutions, defining technology standards, preparing technology roadmap, closely cooperate with vendors (major part of the services is outsourced) working on new solutions to support business needs and request or participate in overall IT strategy definition. He/she will closely cooperate with architects or consultants on vendor side and oversee project delivery. The job responsibilities will include:

• Design/review of new solutions to keep the resources optimized, improve system performance, management and monitoring
• Analyse of complex infrastructure change requests, conducts cost – benefit analyses of multiple options
• Implement and maintain Disaster Recovery solution working together with suppliers
• Drive continuous performance improvement by identifying and initiating process improvements for any performance gap
• Ensure all changes are implemented into production and do not generate any foreseeable incidents
• Communicate effectively with development, systems or infrastructure resources on issues impacting application management
• Ensure that service providers adhere to all the terms and conditions of the contract
• Participates in the assessment of external and internal technology capabilities required
• Facilitates monthly / quarterly service reviews for each major infrastructure vendor
• Maintain technical documentation updated
• Adopt new techniques and practices as the organization maturity develops

Profile

• Knowledge of MS Azure
• Knowledge of SAP Basis
• Experience migrating applications to SAP Cloud welcomed
• ITIL knowledge and experience is welcomed
• Independent judgment and decision-making
• Strong facilitation and negotiation skills
• Good presentation skills
• Ability to work in geographically diverse environment
• Fluent in English
