Managing Director

Our client, a global leader in industrial power management or cooling solutions, seeks a visionary and results-oriented Managing Director to lead its Czech Republic operations. You will be responsible for driving top-line growth, developing high-performing teams, and spearheading strategic initiatives that capture new market opportunities and solidify Our Clients position as an industry leader.

What you will do:
  • Lead overall business operations: Oversee all aspects of the business, including sales, marketing, operations, finance, and human resources. Ensure all activities are aligned with the companys overall goals and vision.
  • Drive profitable growth: Set and achieve ambitious revenue and market share targets for the respective sectors. Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to expand into new sectors and build a sustainable competitive advantage.
  • Shape the future: Lead the development and execution of mid- and long-term strategic plans, anticipating market trends and identifying new opportunities for growth.
  • Build and inspire high-performing teams: Recruit, develop, and motivate a talented team of professionals across all departments, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Build strong relationships: Cultivate positive partnerships with key stakeholders, including customers, distributors, suppliers, and government bodies.
  • Stay informed: Ensure deep understanding of market trends, competitor landscape, and technological advancements relevant to Our Clients business.

What you bring:
  • Proven track record: Minimum 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within a B2B industrial environment, with a demonstrably successful history of driving business growth and profitability.
  • Strategic acumen: Ability to develop and execute winning long-term strategies, translate vision into actionable plans, and make sound decisions based on market analysis and data-driven insights.
  • Sales and marketing expertise: Deep understanding of B2B sales and marketing best practices, proficiency in developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing plans to achieve ambitious growth targets.
  • Operational excellence: Experience in managing complex operational processes, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Team leadership: Proven ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, open communication, and high performance.
  • Financial literacy: Strong understanding of key financial metrics and the ability to analyze financial data to make informed business decisions.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including employees, customers, partners, and senior management.
