Manufacturing Engineering Centre Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineering Centre Lead to manage team of 15 technicians and lead the production of customized industrial products, including racks, enclosures and switchboards for customers in the Czech Republic. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality products while meeting strict targets for quality, productivity, on-time delivery, and cost.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage daily production operations to ensure timely delivery of customized products, adjusting schedules as needed to meet changing customer demands
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve targets for Quality, Productivity, On-Time Delivery, and Cost
  • Monitor and analyze scrap/rework generated by assembly personnel and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve material flow, develop new ideas and methods to enhance efficiency, and reduce waste
  • Assist in the design and layout of working areas to optimize workflow and minimize waste of all types
  • Maintain accurate attendance records for all centre personnel, addressing any issues or concerns promptly
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive process excellence and efficiency
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment by promoting open communication, teamwork, and respect
Required Skills and Experience
  • At least 4 years of manufacturing experience in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality products on time and within budget
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly define tasks and oversee their fulfillment
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends
  • Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Advanced English
